This 42m Fast Crew Boat is the first to feature the new Generation 4 hullform. Developed using advanced CFD analysis and validated through extensive model testing, the new design offers a highly efficient Z-bow. The comprehensive assessment of the new design indicates that the hull resistance is reduced by over 8% compared to the extremely successful Gen 3 design which was first launched in 2014. This particular vessel’s seakeeping performance is enhanced with the inclusion of a gyro stabilizer, offering both increased passenger comfort as well as safety during personnel transfers. The operability of the vessel has also been improved with a clear deck area of 140m2 and a deck loading capacity of 2.5 tonnes/m2.
