Meridian Star: Lobster Fishing Vessel

A classic GBB vessel from the drawing board of Southerly Designs. Originally launched in 1987 this boat was run by the McDonald family, fishing from Kalbarri and the Abrolhos Islands.

The McDonalds built a larger boat “Meridian” in 1997 and the old boat was on-sold. Now back in the hands of the original owners she has just completed a 30th birthday refit at the hands of Dongara Marine Pty Ltd. These old boats never say die and are still top performers at sea.
